PricePal — Privacy Policy

PricePal is a Chrome extension that helps you track product prices on supported Indian shopping websites. This policy explains exactly what data it handles.

What we collect

• Product data: when you open a supported product page (Amazon India, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, Meesho, Zepto), PricePal reads the product's price, title and URL so it can build a price history for that product.
• Your email address: only if you create a price-drop alert. It is used solely to email you when your target price is reached.

What we do NOT collect

• We do not read pages other than the supported shopping sites.
• We do not track your browsing history.
• We do not collect names, addresses, payment details, or passwords.
• We do not show ads or sell your data to anyone.

How data is stored

Price history and alert records are stored in a database (Supabase). Alert emails are sent through Resend. The last product you viewed and your saved email are also kept locally in your browser's storage so the popup loads instantly.

Data retention

Price history is kept to power the history feature. You can request deletion of your alert email at any time by contacting us.
